The largest annual European Geoscience conference (Europen Geoscience Union: EGU, usually about 16.000 attendees) will take place as a virtual event during the coming week. Peter Loewe’s hint from opengeoscience@lists.osgeo.org is forwared here.
Online attendance will be free of charge (gratis) and no registration is required. This is a unique opportunity due to the Corvid-19 pandemic and will not be available in the coming years.
The sessions in the EGU Divisions Earth and Space Informatics (ESSI) and Geosciences Instrumentation and Data Systems (GI) might be particular interest.
