Funded by the EC/FP6 Programme, Research Infrastructures Action, the OASIS project offers a transnational access to SPOT infrastructure

Research laboratories from EU Member States and some Associate Countries are allowed to get SPOT products at no cost, under certain conditions.

To be eligible to OASIS the applicant and its research project must requite to following criteria:

The applicant must be from any European State Member, except France, or from any Associate States, including Associate Candidate Countries: Bulgaria, Cyprus, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey, and Iceland, Israel, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland. The applicant must be from a research laboratory, or from an institution that is carrying out scientific activities

The project must be dedicated to research activities, or to demonstration activities in the framework of GMES (Global Monitoring for Environment and Security). Commercial oriented projects will be automatically rejected. Projects for education purposes (graduate and post-graduate programmes, Masters and Doctorates) are eligible

Cost of SPOT data in the project should not be already supported by another financing source like national programmes or EC funded projects (Integrated Projects, Network of Excellence, other EC instruments)

The applicant must accept the User Licence for Spot images Works performed should mention the origin of the SPOT data
